Trendme Privacy Policy

Last updated 2026-10-05

This policy explains what Trendme does with data. The short version: your selfie is used only to make the works you ask for, it never has a public address, we never train AI models on it, it is deleted when you remove it, and the account itself is held by Amavie, not by Trendme.

The short version

To put you into a trend, Trendme needs a photo of your face. We keep it in private storage so that you do not have to upload it for every trend, the AI model that draws your work gets a link to it that stops working within hours, and we delete it when you remove it, leave Trendme or delete your account.

We do not extract a face template or any other biometric identifier from your selfie, we do not use it to recognise you, and we do not use it to train AI models.

Your works are kept in your account until you delete them. Signing in uses your existing Amavie account; your Quanta balance is the Amavie wallet.

Who is responsible

The controller is ANIMA AI 007 SERVICES - FZCO, IFZA, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Trendme is the name of the service; ANIMA AI 007 SERVICES - FZCO is the company behind it, and behind Amavie.

For anything in this policy, including requests about your data, write to [email protected].

Your Amavie account, shared with Amavie

Trendme does not run accounts of its own. Signing in uses your Amavie account, created and managed by Amavie for the whole product family; the same email address always leads to the same single account.

trendme.amavie.ai belongs to the amavie.ai domain, so a valid Amavie session on your device is visible to Trendme. When Trendme opens it asks the Amavie identity service whether such a session exists; if it does, you are signed in automatically and we read your account identifier, handle or display name and avatar to show them to you. If you create the account from inside Trendme, the password you choose goes straight to the Amavie identity service and is never stored by Trendme.

Your Quanta balance comes from Amavie, which holds it for every product. The account itself — its email address, its password, its deletion — is handled in Amavie under the Amavie Privacy Policy.

Your selfie

When you add a selfie, your device makes it smaller and sends it to us; our server converts it to a WebP image and drops everything else the file carried — the location, the camera, the time it was taken. Only the picture is stored, in private storage on Google Cloud that is closed to the public: your selfie has no web address anyone could open. The app shows it to you through a link that is given only to you and stops working within two hours.

Your selfie is used for one thing: making the works you ask for. When you start a work, the trend and a link to your selfie that stops working within three hours are sent to the AI model that draws it. A new selfie replaces the old one, and the old one is deleted as soon as no work in progress still needs it; “Remove my face” deletes them all at once. This storage keeps no earlier versions and no backup copies, so a selfie that is deleted is gone at once.

A photo of a face is personal data, and in some places it is treated as biometric data. We do not create a face template or any other biometric identifier from it, we do not use it to identify you or anyone else, and we do not use it for anything other than your works.

The AI providers process your selfie on our behalf to draw your work, under contracts and API terms that limit their use of it to providing the service to us.

Your works

For each work we store the trend it was made from, the selfie it used, its status and price, and the result — a video with its first frame, or a photo — in your folder of our cloud storage. Your works are shown only to you, in “My works”; a work is seen by others only if you share it.

Deleting a work deletes its files. Works stay until you delete them, leave Trendme or delete your account. Copies in our backups are deleted on a fixed schedule — earlier versions of files after up to 40 days, daily database backups after 30 days, archive copies after up to 12 months (Amavie Privacy Policy, Section 6b); the picture of your selfie is never in them.

Each work is labelled as AI-made inside Trendme, and its stored file is marked as synthetic media.

Who processes data for us

We host Trendme and store selfies and works on Google Cloud. The AI models that draw the works run with fal.ai (video models by MiniMax and Kling, and image models), OpenAI and DeepInfra; which one draws a given work depends on the trend and on which model is available at that moment.

Payments on the web go through Stripe, and in the store editions of the app through Apple or Google; we never see your card number. Our servers keep standard technical logs — IP address, browser or app identification, time and the addresses requested — for a limited period to keep the service running and to stop abuse.

Your rights, and deleting your data

You can remove your selfie at any time (“Your face”, then “Remove my face”) and delete any work. For your Amavie account — access, correction, export, objection and, where applicable, a complaint to a supervisory authority — use the tools and contacts in the Amavie Privacy Policy; a copy of your data is available at amavie.ai/account/data.

If you also use other Amavie apps, you can leave only Trendme: Account, then Leave Trendme. Your selfies, your works and their files are erased at once, and you are no longer present in Trendme; your Amavie account, its Quanta and your other apps stay. Quanta already spent in Trendme are not refunded.

Deleting the account can be started from inside Trendme: Account, then Delete Amavie account. The moment the account is deactivated, Trendme erases your selfies, your works and their files. The account itself can be brought back within 30 days at amavie.ai/liquidation — not the Trendme data erased above, which is gone at once (its copies in backups expire on the schedule under “Your works”). Financial records are kept for as long as the law requires.

Children

Trendme is not directed at children under 13. An Amavie account requires you to be at least 13 years old, or the higher minimum age of digital consent in your country (see the Amavie Age Policy). Photos of children may not be uploaded, and a selfie that shows a child is refused or removed.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it, and Trendme asks you to accept the new edition.

Trendme is operated by ANIMA AI 007 SERVICES - FZCO (IFZA, Dubai, United Arab Emirates). Amavie and Trendme are product names of that company.
